A good night’s sleep, showered, and walked round to the dining room for breakfast, and an exciting day ahead. Cereal, yogurt, an ommellete, cooked while you wait, toast and juice. Made my flask of tea, I’m ready to go. Cool morning, but a nice day. A fifteen minute walk and we arrive at the country music hall of fame museum. We proceed to the ticket office and exchange the voucher I purchased on line three months ago, for tickets to an organized tour of the famous RCA studio B, and entry into the museum. With about twenty others, all Americans from all over the states,we make the ten minute journey, listening to our tour guide tell the story about the 50 s, when Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and a bunch of others, started the revolution of this devil music that became known as rock and roll. This studio was still in tact with a lot of the original equipment. I enjoyed the experience and the stories told by our very knowledgeable guide. After arriving back at the museum,we spent the afternoon in the museum, which covered everyone who came through Nashville at some point of their career. Absolutely amazing experience. On the walk back to the inn, I purchased a six pack to savour whilst reflecting back in my room, getting ready to go to the ole oprey on Saturday night. At six pm Rob and I caught an Uber for the twenty minute journey to the famous venue. The show was awesome. Some of the artists had been doing the oprey for many years. Bill Anderson in his sixty fifth year, performing at the oprey sang some of songs he wrote, one I remember, called get a little dirt on your hands boy, made famous by the Deltones way back in around 960. So much talent these people have. Definitely made my day.
