Taking it easy in Nashville

Monday morning I woke up long before Rob, remembered he’s older than me, and needs his sleep ๐Ÿ˜‚. I caught up a little on the blog before showering and the usual breakfast,as it doesn’t alter. The weather although clouds, was definitely looking more promising than yesterday. No plans, just walk towards Broadway and enjoy. After walking about for an hour or more,we decided to take the open air bus for an hour city tour. While we waited, stopped in this candy store, that made half pound cookies the size of a small pizza laden with all sorts of treats. My grand kids would love to be here. Rob had a Cuban coffee, while I had a normal hot chocolate, that was sweeter than Aunt Margy’s pie, whoever she is. We then got up onto the top deck and listened to all the history and saw all the places of interest. By the time we left the bus, the clouds had left a very nice sunny day. I had thai soup for lunch and Rob attended to his phone in an apple store, and went back to the inn to have a beer before heading out to dinner where we enjoyed the last bit of live country music. Tomorrow, the road trip begins
